In 2016, an aspiring writer, Joan Rais, who has an extensive psychology background in counseling and coaching, approached us to realize her long-time dream to be a writer. In her brief, she wanted a beautiful pictorial book for adults that are both gorgeous to look at and easy to read, even though the subjects covered often touch the deepest emotion of human’s psyche.
By early 2017, we published the first book of her self-enrichment series, titled “Choices.” Available both in hard and soft covers, the book deals with our humans’ reluctance to make choices, the hopes for external changes to improve for our needs instead, and the regrets that follows.
Wonderfully illustrated in duo-tone sketches format, this book conveys the intricacy of this issue through a girl’s experience with her dress. The story flows with the wind, breezes through the pages, making it a perfect gift for any occasions.
